Mandatory rules for regatta participants

  • Only pneumatic vessels (rubber or plastic) can participate in the regatta, other vessels cannot apply for participation and if such vessels appear on the regatta they do so against the will and without the consent of the organizer;
  • It is obligatory to register the participants of the regatta with the organizer, the municipality of Ljubovija, which can be done up to 15 minutes before the departure of the regatta;
  • Only registered vessels may participate in the regatta;
  • Vessels participating in the regatta may only be operated by persons who have the appropriate license to operate the boat;
  • The vessel shall not be operated by underaged persons, nor may underaged person be only present in the vessel;
  • The maximum number of people on board a vessel may not exceed the permitted number for a given vessel;
  • All regatta participants participate in it at their own risk;
  • Regatta participants should avoid drinking alcohol for the duration of the descent and bring with them the required quantities of drinking water;
  • If possible, each vessel should have some type of sun protection (awning or parasol);
  • Non-swimmers should not participate in the regatta, and in the event that they do participate, they do so at their own risk;
  • Each vessel should have an appropriate number of belts or other life-saving appliances;
  • Participants of the regatta are forbidden to throw garbage in the water or on the banks of the Drina River, but the garbage disposal is carried out in appropriate plastic bags which the organizer will make available to each crew, which will be dumped in a designated container after landing in Ljubovija;
  • Participants are obliged to respect the warnings and orders given by the rescue and security service;
  • Regatta participants are obliged to respect public order and peace, to avoid incidents and violations of the state border.
